Tessa Wood

This project was to create a character design. I created this deer creature with the idea of spirits. This deer is a forest spirit, it protects the forest and animals within it. Its body is hollow and animals will make nests inside.
 
The overall design is based around a blue spruce tree, its neck and rear are coated in prickly blue spruce needles. Its antlers and hooves being more along the lines of stone while its "eyes" are just another of the set of five holes in his skull leading into the hollow interior.
