The tribe of the gorge is a peaceful group of cats living together isolated in the mountains. The mountains are lush and rugged, filled with innumerable valleys and chasms built by ancient glaciers. The cats here are well used to the tricky climbing that comes with living in a chasm. While they do not usually get enemy cats they are all to familiar with other threats, such as local coyote packs, two leg tourists, and hawks. The territory has lots of prey as well however, cats here can hunt mice, birds of all sizes and even catch fish and fresh water crab in the river that runs threw the area.

Reputation,

The tribe is vaguely known by clans, but they are not really close to any rival cats, so they don't really regard cats aggressively. Despite this however clans that hear of them often find there mysterious nature and unusual customs frightening. Cats that don't fallow the warrior code, and that are not well known have been fairly misunderstood. 

 

Laws of the tribe,

Much like the clan cats the tribe fallows a code of similar laws.

1. Elder's, queens and kits are to be fed first.

2. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the ancestors for its life.

3. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

4. A member of the tribe must not be seen by two-legs, the tribe rejects the life of two-leg caretakers. 

5. If the leader dies or retires the position will be taken up by the tribe deputy. 

6. One must successfully mentor an apprentice before they may become deputy.  

7. Outsiders are subject to trial if they wish to join the tribe
    

Tradition of the tribe,​​
 

Traditions of the tribes go back to there first ancestors.

​

• The tribe will keep vigil when one dies, the deceased will be buried the fallowing sunrise.

• New officials such as leader, medicine cat or deputy will visit with the ancestors at the sky pool during moon light. 

• If a new cat wishes to join the tribe, they must prove themselves threw trial. These not only bring to light the cats true tribe name, and job within the tribe, but show that they will truly live for the tribe.
  The trials consist of hunting solo to feed the tribe as well as being cunning and/or strong enough to steal from the den of a howler. Once the outside has completed there trials they are accepted and become one of the tribe members under a new name. They will be taken to the star pools to be introduced to the clan ancestors.
