mothsrun is a wise old tom, he can be strict at times and stuck in his ways but he knows what he's doing. most of the time he will be able to tell right from wrong and does whats best for his clan. 

mothsrun is a former clan cat, having lived in a clan to the north before it was destroyed by howlers, he leads the survivors to the gorge where they would be safe from howlers, taking over as a leader but not fully. in his mind, he can never take over the place of stormstar. it bothers him that he feels like he won't be able to lead as well as his old leader. this often makes him second guess himself which can cause harm to his clan. it was him who discovered the star pools ability to speak with there ancestors of the now gone gorgeclan. he spends many long nights at the pools and will be rather sleepy at times because of his late night escapades.  for his relationships within his old clan, he has never had a mate and likely never will. he enjoys playing with kits but he's never been one to be interested in shecats. he is, however, happy to adopt any stray kits that the tribe finds.
