Territory's

the bulk of the territory is dense lowland deciduous forest. trees are mainly conifers with scattered paperbark birch and white pine. mosses are common in the area with very few berry's or other fruits, the fern is also super common.

majority of herbs come from the river of stars, a large river that flows through the gorge that the clan is known for. this river is known to flood and fill the gorge in new leaf so the clan has become accustomed to the annual travel between there Greenleaf camp and their leaf-bare camp.

there Greenleaf camp is not far from the gorge, on high ground where no kit will be able to find the gorge edge and fall in. the camp is mainly made of large fern and short pines, the fern is woven into the branches of the pines and coated in moss to create a pocket under the bottom-most branches. there is a separate den for elders, fit cats and the nursery, as well as a medicine den where the medicine cat lives and works. there is a boulder near the center of a camp used for meetings, with the fresh kill placed at its base shielding the kill from the weather. unlike most clans, the officials of the clan sleep alongside the fit cats of the clan in the pine dens. the camp is bordered by fern and bramble.

the leaf-bare camp is settled in a hollow inside the gorge itself. the inside of the gorge is better for leaf-bare as it gets allot more sun and therefore is warmer and less snow cover. the camp is made of a series of caves carved by the river and then padded with fern and moss to make soft nests. bedding arrangements work the same as the Greenleaf camp here. the meeting place for this camp is the top of a ridge that juts into the camp giving the hollow a Lilly pad shape.

a notable place within the gorge is the star pools. these are pools carved by the river that fill with water. the bottom sparkles like starlight (this is from two legs using the pools as wishing wells in Greenleaf). here cats go to visit ancestors (much like the moonpool).

other places in nature are the storm tree. this old tree has been struck down by the stars, some say it was a place of such darkness that even the ancestors didn't wish it to remain. (in reality, its been struck several times by lightning).

just past the edge of the tribe's territory, one will meet the territory of the howlers. every cat must take great care on this border for to be caught is certain death. if you are spotted by a howler you must not return to camp and risk the lives of the others.

there are also twoleg places all over the territory, the cats have become accustomed to them in Greenleaf. there is a massive monster path stretching the length of the territory and beyond, it jumps the gorge in a huge red metal bridge with walking paths on either side. on the opposite side of the gorge form the cats there is a hiking trail made by twolegs, it comes to a point at the top edge of the gorge and twolegs like to stare into the distance for some reason.

on the cat's side of the gorge right on the monster path is a Greenleaf place twolegs gather to eat. it always smells sickly sweet.

to the east of the camp is a line of mountains that supply the water for the floods, the river widens as the pass it flows threw rises in hight and flattens out, flowing into the LaurelClan territory and becoming what they call the singing river.
